Ezra is taking a unique approach to supporting you to better understand your own health need and those of your loved ones during times of minor illness and injury. The Ezra app, provides you with easy to follow, on-demand health advice ‘in your pocket’ helping you to understand how to manage your complaint and you will be able to quickly and easily find the most appropriate care location setting for your needs. We aim to help you feel better faster.

• Registration – this is required so that we can update you from time to time which changes to our policies or give you exciting news about developments in our world.
• Self–assessment – a series of simple categories based on the main presenting symptom and split by ‘major’ e.g. persistent and severe chest pain, suspected stroke or ‘minor’ conditions e.g. sprains, ear ache, minor eye injuries.
• Qualified healthcare advice – once you have identified the main health concern, there is written advice detailing potential self-care management of the aliment or injury. If you decide that the condition is ‘major’, then pre-hospital advice is given including instructions on to how to perform cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
• Geo-location – give you directions to local NHS services such as A&E departments, minor injury/urgent care units, pharmacies, dentists and opticians.
• Links to Google maps showing real-time travel information and service opening hours so that you can plan the quickest routes to your chosen healthcare provider.
• Telephone numbers – can be pulled through from your contact directory at the point of registration. Upon reading the health advice you maybe sign-posted to call your GP and make an appointment. You will be able to do this through the Ezra App as opposed to having scroll through your contact directory to find the relevant telephone number. This option provides you with fast and convenient calling.
• Telephone numbers are also pulled through for the NHS service providers for example you might decide to visit their nearest minor injury unit with their child who has hurt their hand. You can then call ahead to discuss your concern or you can dial NHS 111 or 999 via Ezra.
